The wines of the former Yugoslavia tend to get lumped in with the rest of the old Eastern Bloc as bargain-basement fodder. In fact, the best wines of Slovenia and Croatia are capable of much more than that. This rich, honeyed but graceful white is a case in point. With its elegant, dancing acidity, it's a dry riesling to match many from Alsace or Germany's Pfalz region.

My apologies for the late reply, but we have had many samples to taste, and I was out of the office for two weeks recently.
Thank you for sending the samples, which we finally tasted this morning. I am glad to say that the team were impressed with the quality of the wines, and we are particularly interested in the 2010 Libertin Pinot Gris and 2008 Primus Riesling.
As the quality of the wines is very exciting, and we would like to start creating a market for them in our country. We would start with an order of 50 cases of each of the two wines, and grow things from there.
